Patrick Egan, Associate Vice Provost for Research and Associate Counsel, received his B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and his J.D. from The Drexel University College of Law where he graduated with honors in Healthcare Law. Mr. Egan joined the Office of the Vice Provost for Research in April 2023 after a thirteen-year tenure at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he last served as Senior Director of Compliance Operations and Conflicts of Interest. Prior to moving to Philly and attending law school, Patrick worked at the Georgetown University School of Medicine and Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
